Kiera Laidman, born in 2006 in Canada, is an actress, production designer, singer, and songwriter. She is known for her roles in Circuit Breakers (2022), Ghostwriter (2019), and Burden (2022). Kiera also serves as President and Treasurer of KalKaden Productions Inc. With experience in wardrobe and set decoration for film and TV, she contributes her creativity to both sides of production. Kiera stars in the upcoming show Little Women Big League, set to air on Bell Fibe TV1. Passionate about storytelling, she continues to evolve in the entertainment industry.

SECRETARY

Hey everyone! I'm Kaleb, Secretary at KalKaden Productions inc. My journey started in acting, but I found my true passion behind the camera. At 15, while at Etobicoke School of the Arts, I founded KalKaden Productions in Hamilton, Ontario, inspired by childhood friends and a shared vision. We began with promotional films, earning international recognition, and have since expanded into commercial and feature films. One highlight is our feature Surfacing, a collaboration with Riptide Entertainment and HighballTV. Every day, I’m pushing to reach new heights in the entertainment world!

SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

Sabrina Laidman is a Senior Project Manager with over 20 years of experience in retail banking. Born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario, Sabrina wears many hats—Momager, Branch Manager, Set Stylist, and more. A proud mom of three—Kaleb, Kiera, and Connor—Sabrina entered the film industry through her children’s success in Ginny and Georgia, Circuit Breakers, and Umbrella Academy. At KalKaden Productions, she assists in set design, production management, and has taken on executive producer roles on Surfacing, Coming Home, and Little Women Big League (Bell Fibe). She is committed to continually learning and growing in the world of producing.

IT MANAGER

Allan Huseyin is an ideal IT Manager candidate, blending extensive technical and creative expertise with strong leadership and problem-solving skills. With a background in post-production audio design and lighting, Allan has a deep understanding of complex systems and workflows. His experience as a Gaffer on high-profile projects like Pink is In, Surfacing, and Little Women Big League, combined with his work at KalKaden Productions Inc., showcases his ability to manage both creative and technical teams. Allan excels in troubleshooting, system optimization, and ensuring seamless integration of technology to support business and creative projects in fast-paced environments.

CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Tyler Robinson is an actor and writer, best known for his emotional performance in the film Heart Strings, produced by KalKaden Productions. With experience in everything from intense cop dramas to witty comedies, Tyler has honed his skills in both acting and scriptwriting. Currently working on his latest TV pilot, he also contributes to the G&E department on various projects including short films, music videos, commercials, and TV shows. Tyler starred in Little Women Big League, Coming Home (Bell Fibe TV1), Midnight Dreamers, Behind Closed Doors, and Sid the Kid. Always learning, he’s passionate about script development.

HEAD OF POST PRODUCTION

Hello there, my name is Paolo – a passionate Graphic Designer, Musician, and Multi-Media Artist from Toronto, Canada! I embrace growth, live in the moment, and take pride in hard work. My love for life leads to a diverse work experience, often making me seem like someone who "does everything," but the truth is, I’m genuinely curious about learning and exploring different mediums. I enjoy shared experiences, especially with fellow creatives who share that same fiery passion and can inspire others. Currently, I work at KalKaden Productions as the Head of Post Production, where I continue to pursue my creative journey.

LEAD EDITOR & COLOURIST

Hello, I'm Aaron Murphy, the Lead Editor and Colourist at KalKaden Productions Inc. Born and raised in Hamilton, I graduated from the Film Production program in 2019 and began working in the industry immediately after. I started as a DIT for Pink Is In Seasons 1 & 2, where I met many of the long-standing KalKaden team. Since then, I’ve worked as a DIT, Editor, and Colourist on projects like Behind Closed Doors, Surfacing, Midnight Dreamers, and social media content for Malivoire Wine Co. and Ace & Co. Filmmaking has always been my passion, and I’m excited for what’s to come!

CREW RELATIONS & OPERATIONS

Brian Laidman is a proud father, loving husband, and Crew Relations and Operations Manager for KalKaden Productions. A jack of all trades, he is known for his leadership, attention to detail, and relationship-building skills. Born and raised in Binbrook, Ontario, Brian is proud of his Indigenous roots from Six Nations and Seneca. After a successful career in retail banking, Brian’s passion for film led him to support his children's careers in entertainment. Since 2016, he has worked on projects like Trader, Midnight Dreamer, and The Sixth. Brian focuses on team development and maximizing crew engagement within the community.

BTS CONTENT CREATOR

Liam DeGroot plays a crucial role in maintaining KalKaden Productions Inc.'s brand image through his exceptional work as a BTS content creator. His keen eye for detail ensures that the behind-the-scenes content captured reflects the company's high standards and creative vision. Liam’s ability to deliver visually engaging and authentic content not only showcases the production process but also builds a deeper connection with our audience. His efforts are integral in curating a consistent and professional presence across social media platforms, ensuring that KalKaden Productions remains a trusted and innovative name in the industry.

YOUTH MEDIA STRATEGIST

Connor Laidman is a Canadian actor best known for playing Zach in Ginny & Georgia. He has appeared in The Umbrella Academy, American Gods, Polar, and starred in Reacher (2022). In addition to his acting career, Laidman works behind the scenes in grip and electric, handling lighting and rigging on production sets. He also manages youth media strategy for his company. Nominated for three Joey Awards in 2020, Laidman’s work reflects his versatility and passion for both performance and production. With over 10 acting credits, he continues to build a successful and multifaceted career.

LEAD PROJECT MANAGER

Max Martin is a Lead Project Manager with a strong focus on community, active learning, and hard work. With extensive experience in leading projects across commercials, music videos, and digital campaigns, Max has collaborated with notable clients such as Malivoire Wine Co., Ace & Company, and Vaid Productions. Beyond his project management role, Max also shares his expertise as an instructor, working with organizations like the Canadian Armed Forces, Army Reserve, and Queen’s Own Rifles of Canada. He is deeply passionate about creating meaningful and impactful work while continuously refining his skills and fostering collaboration within the community.

CAMERA TEAM & SFX MAKEUP

Luke Philip-Seibt is a talented 2nd Assistant Camera (AC) and photographer, known for his versatility and attention to detail. He began his journey in the Art Department and SPFX Makeup for KalKaden Productions, where his most grotesque work appeared in the short film Into the Fog, where he recreated disturbing imagery of a virus outbreak. Transitioning to the camera team, Luke’s management skills and deep knowledge of lenses helped him excel as a 2nd AC, becoming a key member of KalKaden’s on-set workflow. When not operating a camera, he captures stunning behind-the-scenes stills, contributing as the team’s photographer.

PRODUCTION DESIGNER

Natalie is a passionate and dedicated professional with over 19 years of experience in home staging, interior decorating, and set styling. She founded Set The Stage Home Staging & Styling in 2006 and has worked with top real estate agents in Canada. With a background in Early Childhood Education, Social Work, and Child Welfare, she excels in communication and empathy. Natalie’s love for movies and creativity led her to the film industry, where she serves as Art Director and Costume Designer for KalKaden Productions. She also takes on roles as Executive Producer and Board Member for Film Norfolk. Natalie’s commitment to excellence and hard work shines through in every project.
